I actually don't read these kind of books but this one was recommended by a friend. I got to admit that I was not able to lay it down because it was so thrilling! I am really looking forward to the next books the author will write!
What I love about this book is that it's real, humble and down to earth!!! We can definitely see isaiah 611-4 coming to life in this book. What is so awesome is that the same thing God did for him God will do for anyone!!!!
I have re-read "Miracle Child" I have been greatly reassured that one is in the right place after I myself have had a long lifetime of challenges I wondered how life was to turn out but after reading "Miracle Child", I was inspired again to know that sometimes our challenges make us stronger to endure until we find out that the Lord was always walking along with me unbeknownst. "Miracle Child" is a good read for encouragement to walk closer with the Lord to know how good He is that he brings us through our burdens and challenges and then He turns around and uses us as a Vessel for HIS plan!
It is a Beautiful Book Containing a great story, dont miss the chance to have it because it will be if much blessing to your life.
Author Richard Simmons captivates the reader with his transparency, and I find this to be quite refreshing! Infact, there were times when I could NOT put the book down! The Miracle Child is an excellent depiction of God's unconditional love, grace, and mercy! Whether you are simply intrieged by God, or you are desperately needing hope for a bright future, this book is for you! While being able to relate to the author, I was extremely encouraged and filled with hope after reading The Miracle Child. Therefore, I highly recommend this book! I also look forward to future books written by Richard B. Simmons!

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book! Once I began reading, I could not stop because I was intrigued... I wanted to know how one could overcome all of the obstacles, barriers and hardships endured through life, as Richard has! He not only shares those hardships, but he shares his triumphs! This book is truly for those that don't believe in miracles or feel like they've hit or been at rock bottom but are uncertain how to burst out of that place. This book will breathe life into the person that needs their next breath to move forward in life! I'll definitely be reading again and sharing with others!
This book is an encouraging machine. If you are feeling down, upset by ALL that has happened to you and feel like God cannot use you then my friend you MUST pick up and read this book ASAP!
