I get this book because I know this is worth to read base from the synopsis, I was right, reading each page brings me mix emotion like joy, sadness, inspired, braveness, hopeful and loved. To me, this book is a complete package, some of the facts I've read with teary eyed. I can feel how the author relay her story, I can feel her pain as well as her high hope and belief.This book will make us remember how our friends and family will supports us in times of trials, how to be strong and stand for our dear ones. Heather Choate's memoir is very inspiring and I can't help to admire her and to salute for her husband's dedication and love. True love means a lot, overall, a touching and inspiring book I've ever read..

I couldn't put Heather's book down. I'm going through treatment for Triple Negative Breast Cancer now and wanted to read about her experience to see how it compared to mine. The greatest difference is I wasn't pregnant. I can't even imagine the added fear and anxiety the pregnancy brought to her journey. Thank God she has a supportive husband and family as well as a strong faith to help her through this difficult phase. Try to remember you may not understand today or tomorrow, but eventually God will reveal why you went through everything you did. You are closer to free! Don't give up!! What an inspiration! Heather Choate showed tremendous courage in her fight against breast cancer while pregnant. This is a must read book that all of us can learn from.
Written in diary format and using dialogue from both the most endearing and harrowing moments, Heather Choate takes the reader on a journey into the world of cancer treatment during pregnancy.
It’s more than that though. It’s a story of courage and vulnerability. It’s a story about how a young woman and her family handle some of the most challenging things any of us will ever have to go through. You see her struggle with many decisions and you see her real thoughts and doubts. She hides nothing and because of that you can relate.
This is a must read for anyone going through breast cancer. You get to not only see the reality of going through cancer treatment; you get to see how faith can carry you through this difficult journey.
I admire u so much as a person of faith. I am amazed how u continually turned to and trusted the Lord for well everything. It had to b hard to not give in to self pity and not trusting in the Lord. U r a miracle for sure and ur precious baby.
I don't necessarily agree with the Mormon doctrine but I found it heartwarming that she wanted to keep her baby despite having cancer. She risked her life most of all and I'm very happy her baby was healthy in the end. This confirms that she made the right decision. May both the mother and baby live a full, healthy life.
